KIT at MODELSWARD 2026: KIT presented its latest paper at the MODELSWARD 2026 in Marbella
Our partner Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) participated in the 4th International Conference on Model-Based Software and Systems Engineering (MODELSWARD Conference 2026), held in Marbella, Spain, March 7–9, 2026.
MODELSWARD is a key international conference that brings together researchers and practitioners from around the world to share advances and practical experiences in the use of model-based techniques for the development of complex systems.
During the event, Ph.D. students Atieh Khodadadi presented KIT’s latest work, titled “MDPNML: A Multidimensional Petri Net Markup Language Enabling Construction and Simulation of Comprehensive Digital Twin Models.”
The paper focuses on the generation of MDPNML as an output format describing the extracted MDSPN model, representing a key outcome of WP2 – Task 2.3 within the ONE4ALL project. The resulting MDPNML file enables simulation, validation, and the execution of what-if scenarios, supporting data-driven decision-making processes.
Through this event, KIT contributed to increasing the visibility of the ONE4ALL outcome to an international audience, receiving feedback from the scientific community, and engaging in discussions on emerging approaches in model-based engineering and digital twins.
