On the 18th and 19th of September 2024, ONE4ALL consortium gathered for the 4th General Assembly in Padova, hosted by InnoBoTics (IBT). Over these two days, we reviewed our achievements, evaluated progress, and laid out the roadmap for the next phase of the project.
With 18 months of the project completed, this General Assembly was a crucial step in ensuring that the consortium remains aligned on its objectives.
ONE4ALL General Assembly – Day 1
On Day 1, the agenda focused on updates from the various Work Packages. WP1, led by Innoglobal, kicked off with a detailed presentation providing an in-depth look at the environmental and social impacts of the project, highlighting ongoing efforts to assess the sustainability of our innovations.
KIT and IDE provided insights into the progress of their respective work packages (WP2 and WP3), dealing with technical components:
- Data-driven Digital Twin, enabling more accurate simulations and predictions
- Intelligent Orchestration Platform, designed to enhance coordination between machines and operators on the production floor.
Finally, IBT presented its update on WP4, sharing developments in the design of flexible, reconfigurable production systems that seamlessly integrate both physical and digital components. In the afternoon, participants were given the opportunity to visit IBT’s premises to see the cobot technology in action, providing an exciting glimpse into the practical applications of our project’s innovations. The day concluded with a guided tour of Padova’s historic sites and a networking dinner.
ONE4ALL General Assebly – Day 2
Day 2 of the General Assembly opened with discussions on WP6: Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communication, led by EXE and CRIT. This session focused on strategies to effectively share the project’s results with both industrial stakeholders and the broader public. Exploitation plans were also discussed, with a view towards maximizing the commercial impact of the project’s innovations.
Special attention was given to a preview of WP5 by CRIT, as the project’s demonstrators are scheduled to be implemented in January 2025. These demonstrators will serve as a real-world test of the project’s innovations and are expected to play a pivotal role in validating the developed technologies. During the GA, CRIT presented a first proposal about the methodology to be employed for the demonstrators’ implementation.
IDE covered all aspects related to project management (WP7), such as the preparations for the upcoming project review meeting in October 2024, ensuring that all deliverables, financials, and reports are on track. This session also outlined the key steps in the short-term work plan. The day concluded with a review of the first official reporting period, which included evaluating expenses and setting targets for the upcoming phases.
